I’m not writing this blog for money, but maybe I could.
According to The Wall Street Journal:
In America today, there are almost as many people making their living as bloggers as there are lawyers. Already more Americans are making their primary income from posting their opinions than Americans working as computer programmers or firefighters.
Wow! I was surprised, too. It’s not easy to blog for money, though, as there are tens of millions of blogs and only a small handful of folks profiting from it. For me, it’s a place to share my knowledge – and knowledge of others – with those who read. Blogging is a great part of any marketing strategy, but it’s all about frequency of posts (as in, do it frequently) and the content. Make it good, and hits will follow.
Oh, and did I mention my upcoming book? So I blog for fun, and to promote.
